From the street, you enter via period café doors into the the bright, spacious living room. This comprises lounge, dining and kitchen areas.

The newly fitted kitchen area is well equipped, with electric cooker, fridge and dishwasher (the washing machine is in the bathroom). The kitchen windows give a stunning view up to the village on the hillside opposite.

Immediately outside the living room's café doors is a small area where you can place a chair to sit in the sun and watch the world go by (the road serves nearby hamlets and is quiet even in August). This area has railings and lockable gates, and so is safe for small children while their parents are indoors. From here there are steps to the garden, with outside dining table, and beach.

A hallway leads from the living room to the large main bedroom, with large  double bed, which comprises half the former stable and retains the hay rack, drinking trough and stable doors. The bathroom, with shower and w.c., is on the opposite side of the hallway.

The second and third bedrooms, both twin bedded and more or less identical, are smaller and have fewer original features, but with views of the river and the beach opposite.

All three bedrooms have mosquito blinds or netting on the windows.

The hallway also leads into the former wine-cellar, where wine was made until the 1980s. A carved inscription dates the wine-press to 1912, and on the original doors there are chalked delivery notes from 1960. On the other side of the hall are two decorated concrete vats (a third is now a small store room with an additional fridge-freezer).

Here there is also the table-tennis table.
